General terms and conditions

Art 1 Application

These general terms and conditions apply to the use of the website and bookings made with La Cour d'Enchère for the stay at our location. By making a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions.


Art 2 Duration of stay

The stay is only possible for tourist reasons, with a limited stay. The guest may under no circumstances invoke any right to perpetuate his stay.


Art 3 Reservation

a) The reservation is only valid when the guest has paid the deposit; This deposit amounts to 50% of the total booking costs for the accommodations.  For the pitches on the campsite, this is 10%

b) The agreement is always concluded for an exact number of people. If the number of guests is higher than agreed, the guest can book suitable accommodation if available.

c) The remaining amount (outstanding balance) must be paid no later than 14 days before the arrival date. For a stay booked at short notice, the balance will be settled immediately.


Art 4 Cancellation by the guest

Any cancellation must be made in writing. Cancellations will be confirmed by the landlord taking into account the following costs:

a) in case of cancellation up to 45 days before the start of the stay: the deposit minus 10% of the reservation amount will be refunded

b) in case of cancellation between 30 and 15 days before the start of the stay: the 50% deposit will not be refunded, the balance will be waived;

c) in case of cancellation 7 days or less before the start of the stay: the full amount will be charged;

d) In case of no-show or early departure, the cost of the entire stay will be charged.


Art 5 Force majeure 

In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances that make the stay impossible, we reserve the right to cancel the booking or make changes.

Art 6 Arrival and departure

The arrival time is from 16:00, and the departure time is no later than 10:30 on the day of departure. We ask that you adhere to these times to allow for cleaning and preparation for new guests.

In case of late or early arrival, please inform us in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements.


Art 7 Use of the guest rooms in and around the house 

a) The guest is responsible for complying with the house rules and for any damage caused to the accommodation or property of La Cour d'Enchère during your stay.

b) Smoking is not allowed in the accommodations and in the house. Outdoors, it must not cause a nuisance to other guests

c) Pets such as cats, birds and dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed to roam freely. There is a daily allowance for dogs. Maximum 2 pets per booking.

d) The landlord does not sell alcohol to young people under the age of 18. Alcohol consumption that manifests itself in nuisance to other guests can lead to denial of access.


Art.8 Complaints

If you have a complaint about your stay, we ask you to report it to us immediately, so that we have the opportunity to solve the problem.


Art.9 Data protection 

We process personal data. By making a booking, you agree to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our privacy policy
