Music Weeks 2026 – Making Music in the CountrysideA few times a year, La Cour d’Enchère becomes a place where music blends naturally with the quiet rhythm of the countryside. The music week takes place on our small-scale property in the Allier, surrounded by the calm landscape of the French countryside.
Our music weeks are small-scale gatherings for (young) adults who enjoy making music together in a relaxed, informal setting. No stage, no pressure — just the pleasure of playing, listening and sharing music in a peaceful environment.
You stay surrounded by nature, sleep under canvas or in a lodge tent, and spend your days alternating between music and free time.
What the weeks are aboutThe focus is on ensemble playing in a friendly atmosphere. The rhythm is gentle: guidance and structure are provided, but always with room for your own pace.
Expect:
- Daily ensemble sessions
- Informal evening playing moments
- Individual practice time
- Free time for walks, reading, or exploring the countryside
For whomThese weeks are intended for (young) adults who play an instrument and enjoy music with others. All acoustic instruments are welcome. Basic independence on your instrument helps, but perfection is not required — openness and enjoyment are key.
H2 – Staying during the music week
Participation is combined with a stay on our grounds. You can choose:
- Camping pitch (own tent, caravan, or camper)
- Glamping lodge tent (ready on arrival)
This shared outdoor setting is part of the atmosphere: cooking, relaxing, and meeting each other between sessions.
